Our Corporate, M&A work is headed by Partner Baris Polat who has over 9 years professional experience in the sector.
We have a special focus on cross-border litigation, acting for and against foreign entities, tailoring our legal assistance towards commercially and strategically sensible solutions. Furthermore, we advise and litigate in a wide variety of disputes including, but not limited to, corporate disputes, contractual disputes, tort law disputes, employment disputes, disputes in the banking and finance sector, insolvency-related disputes, disputes involving allegations of fraud and other corporate crimes, antitrust disputes and product liability disputes.
Our litigation lawyers are sensitive to each client’s individual concerns in a variety of trades and sectors. They handle complex matters for multinationals, financial institutions, institutional investors, and national and international governmental organisations. Our team has a wealth of hands on experience in handling HR matters for multinational and local businesses operating in a range of sectors. We have developed some innovative models for clients to deal with large restructuring and redundancy programmes and provide training for management teams in order to reduce their need for outside counsel. Our team supports our clients in every phase of the employment relationship including handling restructuring, redundancies, collective bargaining agreements and settlement agreements with top executives.
With the aim of maintaining full compliance with Turkish employment legislation and the company policies of our clients, we provide the following services:

It diligently pursues cases to recover damages and petition for appeals arising from unlawful administrative proceedings and acts. It undertakes full judicial proceedings against the administration, and the settlement of administrative contract disputes.
Our legal team provide tax law advice and act in relation to tax disputes arising between the administrative authorities and our clients. We act in relation to pre-trial settlement processes and in cases where litigation needs to be resorted to. We advise on the cancellation of tax penalties and correction requests.
